Serial production of turboprop TV7-117ST for application of JSC “Ilyushin” light military transport aircraft Il-112V will begin in 2020, CEO “United Engine Building Corporation” (UEC, part of the group Rostec) Vladislav Masalov told RIA Novosti.
“Turboprop TV7-117ST – a further development of the engine family TV7-117 is planned to install at the Il-112V. Initially was C, then there was a modification of CM and CT – more powerful, more efficient and modern modification. TV7-117ST is under development -konstruktorskih works (OCD), we plan to complete them and to begin mass production in 2020, “- said Masalov.
