More than 200 companies from 10 countries will take part in the VIII International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia in Moscow, told reporters on Tuesday the organizers of the exhibition.

VIII international helicopter industry exhibition HeliRussia 2015 will be held from 21 to 23 may in the exhibition center “Crocus Expo” in Moscow. Today it is the only exhibition in Russia where Russian and foreign companies present world achievements of the entire spectrum of products and services of the helicopter industry — from design and manufacture to maintenance.

Russian Helicopters to showcase commercial and military helicopters at LIMA 2015 in Malaysia

Russian Helicopters, part of State Corporation Rostec, will showcase its latest developments at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition, LIMA 2015, which will be held on Malaysia’s Langkawi island from 17 to 21 March.

Russian Helicopters will display its multirole Mi-171A2 and Ansat helicopters at LIMA-2015. Military models will also be centre-stage: together with Rosoboronexport, Russian Helicopters will showcase Mi-35M, Mi-171Sh, and Mi-17V-5 helicopters for representatives of the law enforcement agencies in Malaysia and other countries of South East Asia.

Today, Russian-made helicopters are operated in over 100 countries in the world, including many in the Asia Pacific region. In total, about 1,500 medium and light Russian-made helicopters are operated in the region.

Results of third day of “Engineering Technologies 2014” Forum

 

Work within the business portion of the Engineering Technologies 2014 Forum wrapped up on the third day of the event. During this period, the Conference Centre hosted 14 conferences, round tables, and seminars with more than 1500 specialists. Moreover, the round tables and presentations were held at the stands of the corporate participants of the Oboronexpo exhibition.

The third day of the Engineering Technologies 2014 Forum brought together 6,900 attendees, including speakers, Business Program delegates, exhibitors, and business visitors. Over 2000 visitors arrived at the exhibition in their own vehicles and made use of the parking spots at the Gromov Flight Research Institute.

 More than 20,000 specialists visited the forum on its first three days; over 100 speakers and at least 1,500 delegates and attendees took part in conferences and round tables.

Yuri Slusar checked the readiness for “Oboronekspo 2014»

At the workshop, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Yuri Slusar heard reports on the preparation of exhibits, the formation of the business program, demonstration flights, ensuring the safety of guests and spectators of the event.

Western sanctions imposed on Russia have not disrupted German, US, and French participation in the Oboronexpo 2014 military technology exhibition outside Moscow.

 “The leaders of the Russian military industry are among the participants from 11 countries, including Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, Germany, India, China, the United States of America, France, the Czech Republic and Switzerland,” the organizers said in a press release.

New tech, tactics, and weapons at Interpolitex 2014

Ministry of Defence to provide 40 types of equipment for Oboronexpo-2014

Defense Ministry will provide equipment that will form the basis of demonstration program of the armory exhibition Oboronexpo-2014. 40 samples of such equipment will be involved in the program, ARMS-TASS reports referring to the deputy director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Constantine Biryulin.
“This is a modern means of air defense – anti-aircraft missile system S-400 and S-300V, air defense missile-gun system “Pantsir-S “, as well as the operational-tactical missile complex “Iskander-M”, modern artillery systems and installations, multiple rocket launchers, armored vehicles,” said Biryulin.
International forum “Engineering Technologies – 2014” and the international exhibition “Oboronexpo-2014” will be held on August 13-17 in Zhukovsky.

German, French, American companies to take part in Oboronexpo-2014 arms exhibition

Eight foreign companies, including German, French and US enterprises, will take part in Russia’s arms exhibition, Oboronexpo-2014, despite western sanctions. The Federal Military and Technical Cooperation Service said this on Wednesday.
The exhibition, which will be held in the town of Zhukovsky in the Moscow Region on August 13-17, “will be attended by 212 Russian companies, including eight foreign firms from Belarus, Germany, India, China, the United States and France,” the service’s press office said.

Format of the 10th international exhibition “Gidroaviasalon 2014” will be expanded

“Format of “Gidroaviasalon 2014” will be expanded thanks to inclusion of marine engineering, many of the attendant technological solutions related to the sea and aviation in the program,” said Denis Manturov. “Also exhibits for business and regional airlines will be presented.”

According to the minister, “Gidroaviasalon” will be closer in scope to the world’s leading airshows, remaining a unique event thanks to the variety of activities. “Gidroaviasalon 2014” will reach a new level and become a demonstration site for the wide range of cross-industry solutions for aviation, shipbuilding, offshore oil and gas, subsea engineering and related technical problems.

The minister said that the largest Ukrainian businesses, which are interested in close cooperation with the Russian manufacturers, confirmed their participation in the event.

International military biennial Eurosatory-2014 opens in Paris

The five-day biennial Eurosatory, backed by the French defense and interior ministries, kicked off Monday in Paris.

Russia’s leading machine building company Uralvagonzavod made a very public point of not displaying as planned its two new vehicles: the modernized main battle tank T-90 and the fire support combat vehicle BMPT-72, titled Terminator-2.

Rosoboronexport, Russia’s main defense export agency, also took a stand, announcing it was dramatically reducing its participation in European defense and security exhibitions and focusing instead on events in the Middle East, Latin America, Asia-Pacific and Africa.

In spite of the refusals to bring some of their tech, Russia’s companies still have more than 350 options on offer at Eurosatory.

Rostec to show new items of combat equipment at “Eurosatory-2014”

New models of arms and military equipment produced by enterprises of Rostec will be shown for the first time at the salon of weapons “Eurosatory 2014” in Paris.

International exhibition of arms and military equipment of the army and ground-based air defense “Eurosatory 2014” will be held in the suburbs of Paris from June 16 to June 20, 2014. Trade show is held every two years. Thematic sections: weapons, specialized equipment, maintenance, vehicles, aircraft, systems and security technology, measuring and testing systems.

Russian exposition is organized by the State Corporation Rostec. Exhibition will be attended by about 27 Russian companies. “Rosoboronexport” will bring to the first European exhibition of arms latest designs of small arms and combat equipment. New items will be presented in exhibitions of TSNIITOCHMASH, Tula arms factory belonging to the Rostec. Total Russian exposition assigned area of 700 square meters.
