First prototype of drone of small class “Korsar” created

Experts of United Instrument-making Corporation (UIC, is a “Rostec”) created the first prototype of the Russian spy drone of small class “Korsar”.

This was announced on June 9 by the representative of the Corporation. “State tests will end in 2016. The serial production is scheduled for late 2016 – early 2017. Now the prototype of “Korsar”, which we will show on the forum “Army 2015″ is ready”, the spokesman said.

According to him, “Korsar” will be the first mass small drone to the Russian army. “The main task of the unmanned aerial vehicle – monitoring of the situation on the battlefield,” – said the representative of the UIC.
