Russia, Angola look to speed up shipbuilding JV creation

Russia and Angola are going to create a joint venture in the field of shipbuilding and ship repair.

This was reported by TASS referring to the protocol of the third meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Angolan Commission for Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation and Trade.

“The two sides expressed their interest in the speedy establishment of a joint shipbuilding and ship-repair company, acting on a self-financing and self-sufficiency, between JSC “Sudoimpeks”(Russia) and Pescangola EP (Angola) as a new model of cooperation, including training on the basis of an undertaking of specialists in the field of shipbuilding and repair,” the document says.
