Corporation “Irkut” prepared for the Russian Defense Ministry an engineering note on creating a light attack aircraft based on combat training Yak-130, the senior vice president Vitaly Borodich said on Wednesday.
“The engineering note is prepared and it will be sent to the Ministry of Defence. Then – as the main customer decides,” Borodich said during Aero India 2015.
For the first time information about the possibility of creating such an aircraft appeared in 2013.
