Deep-sea rescue units of Russian Navy are planned to be upgraded by 2020


Rescue deepwater units of the Russian Navy will be upgraded to 2020, Chief of the search and rescue of the Russian Navy captain Damir Shaikhutdinov said.
“Currently, “Kanonersky factory” conducted a deep modernization of another autonomous rescue submersible AC-34. The following year, 2016 will start a deep modernization of the autonomous rescue submersible AC-36. It is planned that by 2020, all rescue submersibles of these series will be modernized,” the press service of the Defense Ministry quoted him as saying.
