Airbus A350 XWB to participate in the MAKS for the first time


For first time the newest wide-body aircraft A350 XWB will participate in the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2015, which will be held from August 25 to August 30 in Zhukovsky. A350 XWB (serial number MSN001) will perform demonstration flights, and will be presented at the static display c August 25 to August 27. This was reported by the press service of the Airbus.

“A350 XWB which arrived at the MAKS  was the first of the five test aircraft, which took off. Remarkable flight took place on June 14, 2013 in Toulouse (France). It initiated the intensive flight test program duration of 14.5 months, after which the A350 XWB was certified for commercial flights. A350 MSN001 equipped with engines of the new generation Rolls-Royce Trent XWB, is installed on board test equipment. At this airplane is conducting tests of systems and engines, he performed tests on the rejected take-off, landing in crosswinds, and was also involved in the test program at low temperatures, “- it said in a statement.
