Future military helicopter pilots started flying on new “Ansat-U”

More than a hundred Russian Air Force helicopter pilots of the future today will make their first solo flight on a new training helicopter “Ansat-U”. This was told to reporters by the representative of the Air Force of Russia Colonel Igor Klimov, third-year students of the branch of the Air Force Academy in Syzran began exercises in the air.
“Students, studying at the Army Aviation pilots, will train hands-offs, landings, hovering over the point, cross-country flight in normal weather conditions. Before the flight, the crew passed the tests of actions in case of unexpected situations,” Klimov said.
