BRICS to buy development of the Moscow Engineering and Physics Institute to protect enterprises against cyber attacks


Created by specialists of the National Research Nuclear University of Moscow Engineering and Physics Institute hardware-software complex “Shchit,” which can be used to protect the automation of industrial enterprises against cyber attacks, will be available in the BRICS countries, the deputy head of an engineering center of Moscow Engineering and Physics Institute Constantin Mezhankov said in an interview with the weekly Russian Academy of Sciences ‘Poisk’.

Protection of automated process control systems from cyber attacks is one of the major problems in modern industry. The consequences of such an attack may be malfunction of the automated process control systems in the enterprise, industrial accidents, and even man-made disasters. Experts around the world are looking for ways to improve the reliability of protection automatic control.
