United Instrument-making Corporation began testing of software package that minimizes human involvement in the management of a group of robots and enables the machines to operate virtually autonomously.
“The software, created by Concern “Management Systems” has no analogues in Russia. The current robotics is now controlled using the rule “one operator – a robot.” Our development will allow the operator to control a group of robots simultaneously, as well as teaching machines to “think” and “take decisions”, Director of the Department of innovative development of the defense industry, Alexander Kalinin said.
The software package manages the robots for different purposes: a group may include aerial and underwater vehicles, ground vehicles. The operator directs the whole, but the tasks are distributed within the community of robots and decided on their own.
