Su-30SM and Yak-130 aircraft participated in victory parades in Moscow, Sevastopol, Astana and Minsk for the first time

On May 7th and 9th in the network of celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War Su-30SM and Yak-130 aircraft manufactured by Irkut Corporation participated in four victory parades for the first time, press-service of Irkut Corporation reports.

“In Moscow 4 Su-30SM multi-role fighters and 6 Yak-130 operational trainers of the Russian air forces flew over the Red Square. The Krilya Tavridi (Wings of Taurida) aerobatic team (operates Yak-130 jets) debuted at the Victory Parade. Two Su-30SM fighters operated by Russian navy took part in the Victory Parade held in Sevastopol. 4 Su-30SM fighters delivered by Irkut Corporation to the Kazakh Ministry of Defense in April 2015 participated in the Parade held in Astana,” the company said.

On May 9th 6 Yak-130 operational trainers operated by the pilots of Armavir air base of Russian air forces took part in the Victory Parade in Minsk. At present Belarusian pilots are starting to operate the first batch of Yak-130 jets put into service in April 2015.

President of Irkut Corporation Oleg Demchenko said: «Today employees of Irkut Corporation are keeping up the traditions of our heroic predecessors, and our aircraft – Su-30SM and Yak-130 jets, are essential for ensuring the national security of Russia and its allies».
