Russian consolidation under Rostec continues


Russian missile propulsion company Start of Yekaterinburg has come under the control of the Rostec Corporation, the state-owned industrial holding group that is condolidating the country’s defence and technology sectors.

Start – state-controlled prior to the acquisition – said in a statement on 3 June that Rostec had gained control of 59.42% of its stock.

Start specialises in the design and manufacture of equipment for the launch of ground-based missile systems, and air and missile defence systems. It will be incorporated into the existing Tyekhnodynamika holding of Rostec.
