Russian Armed Forces conducted 1,000 sessions with drones in South and North Ossetia


About a thousand tactical and special activities were held during the winter period of training by the Russian military in South Ossetia and North Ossetia-Alania, the press service of the Southern Military District said on Monday.

“Military base units held more than 1,000 tactical and special activities with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles during the winter training period on the military range “Dzartsemi” in South Ossetia and “Tarskoe” in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania. Military UAVs “Zastava”, “Granat”, “Orlan” and “Leer” were used to train abilities to control equipment, conduct reconnaissance and aimed fire at military targets of an imaginary enemy,” official statement said
