Russia signed MTC agreement with Cameroon

Russia has signed a government-to-government military technical co-operation agreement with Cameroon, it was announced on 12 May.

The agreement also extends to co-operation relating to the training of military personnel, Russian state information service RIA Novosti reported.

The Russian Federal Service for Military Technical Co-operation (FSMTC) signed the agreement on behalf of Moscow, while Cameroon was represented by the country’s Ministry of Defence.

The FSMTC first announced its intention to sign the agreement in March this year.
