KRET: sensors for the second heavy “Angara-A5” delivered to the manufacturer

The second Russian heavy launch vehicle “Angara-A5”, which will be given to the Ministry of Defense in November, received a full set of sensors, and their number is two times more than in the first sample, Deputy Director General of Concern “Radio-electronic technology” (KRET, included in Rostec) Igor Nasenkov said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

The new modification of the Angara heavy rocket is scheduled to be used for another two launches in 2025 to help a new-generation manned spacecraft fly around the Moon.

First, a spacecraft with an inter-planetary orbital tug and a DM acceleration unit will be orbited. During the second launch, another inter-orbital tug and an oxygen-hydrogen accelerator will go into outer space.
