Arctic “Pantsir” to have chain tracks

Tula “Instrument Design Bureau” is considering the possibility of creating track versions of anti-aircraft missile  “Pantsir” for use in Arctic conditions. The representative of holding “High-complexes”, which is part of Instrument Design Bureau told about this at LAAD-2015 arms fair.

The representative of the holding company also said that currently the “Instrument Design Bureau” is working to improve the reliability of the “Pantsir” in harsh temperature conditions. “The worst in this case is the icing, – he said. – Work is underway to improve the reliability of the chassis and hardiness of various oils and fluids.”
