Russian Navy to get compact multipurpose complexes with tethered balloon EMAK


Sailors will be able to solve reconnaissance and surveillance tasks using aerostats EMAK. This was reported by Interfax-AVN source in the military-industrial complex.

“Complexes with tethered balloon EMAK development Dolgoprudny Design Office Automation (DKBA) will be used in the interest of the fleet to meet the challenges of intelligence and surveillance,” the spokesman said.

According to him, these complexes can be based both on shore and on ships. Currently, negotiations on terms of delivery balloon complexes and composition of useful payload.
