Rostec holding joins France’s Microturbo to build helicopter engines


Despite sanctions, Technodinamika, a new subsidiary of the Russian state technology company Rostec has teamed up with the French gas turbine maker Microturbo to produce helicopter engines.

The two companies have agreed to jointly produce a new auxiliary power unit (APU) for the Russian Saphir 15 helicopter, and look for other international markets for their product.

Technodynamika’s head Maxim Kuzyuk called the agreement a “confirmation of the effective development and consolidation of the business contacts of Technodinamika with its foreign partners, even in the conditions that are challenging for Russian economy.”
